“The Dream of the Blue Turtles” is the first solo album by British pop singer-songwriter Sting, released in the United States in 1985, a year after The Police had unofficially disbanded. The album reached number 2 on the US Billboard 200 Albums chart. It includes Sting’s first solo hit, “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” which reached number 3 in the USA. The album produced three other top 40 singles, including the top 10 hit, “Fortress Around Your Heart.”
